Liner Notes

Spanish Profanities Club was one of the hardest projects to complete. It was an Exquisite Corpse with a dozen requirements. From the red in my shirt, to a blue background, a knife on screen, musical instrument, foreign language, and a line from The Maltese Falcon. There were a lot of details to pack in a 3 page script.

With the few creative choices I could make, I tried to cram in as many hack jokes as possible. I don’t know if there’s a single original thought in this entire piece. Playing the beta cuck was a lot of fun though. I was getting really frustrated with having to play a guy for these projects, so I went all out on being the most pathetic performative sour cream jazz nerd fucker I could.

I'm ripping off Tim Robinson heavily, but I may or may not have directly made fun of this pretentious jazz guy that spoke to our class. We had a pretty interesting conversation about synths, but he was one of those guys that gatekeeps music theory like it's some elite scripture. I always find this funny. One month into estrogen too, I was really self conscious about my boymode bitch tits showing through the vest, but it makes the character fr. I got a genuine compliment on my outfit. I designed it to look as lame as possible, but I'll take it either way.

Alejandro once again killed it in this. He’s the funniest in any movie he’s in. If you look very closely during the bridge sequence in Superman (2025), you can see Alejandro running from destruction in his Spanish Profanities Club outfit!

Shooting the whole script was a bit of a struggle...I didn’t really memorize it either, so a few jokes were cut. We also didn’t have anyone for sound, so we left the field recorder running during the whole shoot and the four of us passed LAVs around. It worked out better than I thought it would. Thankfully we had no issues with lights and camera, JP is a pro videographer. Tri-C’s “Dino Den” is this cozy little gamer lounge on the third floor student center. I like telling people about it, it's like a really cool secret. A great place to film in!

We were all looking forward to watching everyone’s exquisite corpse projects, but sadly the screening fell through. I wanted to show off my epic and totally impressive melodica skills to everyone >:( I doubt the professor wanted to show this film to her colleagues. It’s a tough sell. I remember JP told me the script sounded AI generated. I was kinda offended at first, but he was 100% right.
